感恩节——美利坚的文明《Give Thanks》
今天是美国的感恩节，可它又有别于其他一些美国的传统节假日。......其实，感恩节并不像人们片面了解和认知的那样。仅仅只是为了感恩，这和传说中的事实并不大相符。有时那也只不过是人们的一厢情愿罢了！是在刻意掩盖或是回避着一些难以启齿的真相。至少美国人的感恩节绝对是可以让人若有所思又回味无穷，或许还有些难以启齿！......但我们都知道感恩节，必定不是“愚人节”，假的真不了。人们不该也更是不会刻意的忘却历史！......
感恩节如果不是因为某些特定原因，曾经就有人笃定了感恩节的起源不仅仅只是一个不被印第安人认可的传说。这其中还有着某些鲜为人知的秘密。当年“五月花”号船从欧洲一路经历了几个月的长途跋涉和狂风暴雨的洗礼，来到的中南美洲马萨诸塞州的普利茅斯。那些来自英格兰的白人清教徒，在当地印第安人的帮助下学会了种植玉米。狩猎和捕鱼等本领。......
当然，也有人说感恩节是白人入侵美洲后，为了庆祝对印第安人大屠杀取得的胜利而特别设立的节日。还有的说法就是白人，不仅仅带来了欧洲的所谓”文明“，还把瘟疫和殖民主义同时带到了美洲大陆。这当然就是在指新英格兰在美洲大陆的第一个永久性殖民地的历史见证了！
这对有着所谓信仰的美国人来说，要让“天命”和美国人站在一起是非常重要的。所以，美国人需要有一个象征性的节日——感恩节。从另一个角度来说，感恩节是富有浪漫情感的美国人发明的，这无疑对美国人来说具有特殊的意义。此华盛顿，林肯和罗斯福在面临国家危难的关头都想起了感恩节，他们也都试图利用感恩节来凝聚人心，缓解矛盾使美国强大起来。
从十五世纪哥伦布发现美洲大陆开始，欧洲白人用枪炮和传染病只用了短短一百多年就干掉了百分之九十的印第安人，到了十九世纪下半叶，美国人又基本上把剩下的百分之十原住民印第安人给清理干净了！美国国父华盛顿就曾经放言说：印第安人和狼都是掠食动物没有什么区别，只是外形不太一样，对白种人来说狼就是狼子野心，人人得而诛之。这也就慢慢形成了今天美利坚的文明！......（感谢阅读欣赏）
