是tenure tracked position，没有phd项目，只有master，有reserch的要求，但是

昨天，隔壁班一学生，上课的时候去上厕所。结果他上完发现自己没带纸。。。而等又
等不到人。。。他的手机又欠费了。。。这时，绝望中的他做出了一个特别有才的决
定：他拿出手机给10086打电话。他说——他是哪儿的学生，他上厕所没带纸，能不能给
他的同学发个短信，给他送下纸。。。
据说那边沉默了很久。。。后来。。。
他班同学上课时收到了这样一条短信：
尊敬的中国移动用户你好，你的同学谁谁谁在厕所里，让你给他送手纸。详情咨询
10086。
就这样，他得救了。。。

Teaching school means 3-3 teaching load ( 3 classes per semester). This
means you have no time to do research except during the summer.

I also just know this. Schools are usually categorized into three kinds:
1. R1s : research 1. lots of research activities, such as Stanford, MIT,
Harvard, and most top 100 universities.
2. R2s. Smaller universities, less famous universities.
3. SLACS. Small liberal arts colleges, which has no PHD nor Master programs.
Mostly teaching.

是啊，但是该做的还是得做，tenure 要求一个都不能少。
