女朋友8,9月份想B2过来。她去年的时候也来过，当时给签证官说的是去玩，但是机票
订的是到我这里，后来过海关的时候海关看她的机票，说她不是旅游的，后来我女友还
是老实说是来看我的，最后还是让她入关了，不过只给了她一个月的时间。当时是按时
回去了的。PS，女友以前也去过英国，欧洲那些国家。
想问下应该给签证官以及海关怎么说呢？咋子说海关才有可能给大约3个月时间呢？
还有她来这里我们结婚她下次回国F2签证好签吗？主要是我比较忙，没时间回国的，所
以才想在这边结婚的。

sorry cannot type in chinese at work.
I'm looking for a senior research Associate for analytical method
development in a pharmaceutical company in bay area (small molecule).
contractor-to-hire position. MS with 5yr experience or BA with 5-10 yrs
experience. HPLC, UPLC, GC, dissolution experience required. Solid state
characterization and GMP experience is a plus.

Does she plan to stay in the US most of the time? Or she will just be here
about 3 months per year? B2 is still fine if latter. F2 will be the way to
go if former, and she can stay in US to finish the B2 to F2 COS without
leaving US.

争取能留3-5个月吧。想她B2签证过来然后我们结婚然后她转成F2陪读到我毕业吧

为什么不直接办F2啊，你这样用B2待得时间长了又会被怀疑abuse B2签证了。直接上F2
不是省很多事情，想待多久待多久。

Your gf will be allowed into the US as long as she had non-immigrant intent
when she entered the US. F2 status is not a visa. with that status, she can
stay in the US with you. However, once she leaves the US, she will need to
get F2 visa to re-enter the US.
