美国有个非常专业的护肤杂志New Beauty，它有很多专业dermatologist的经验，不过
有很多关于plastic surgery的，一般人用不上。我在上面读到过一个讲护肤要用高科
技anti-aging serum+moisturizer,我觉得很有道理。
有人说serum是个很伟大的发明，我会用好一点的serum，比较喜欢Elizabeth Arden
PREVAGE Serum，以前读到Catherine Zeta-Jones推荐过它。
moisturizer则不一定要很贵，我觉得保湿和anti-aging比起来比较不需要高科技。但
保湿非常重要。那些杂志上的人讲护肤之道，经常说的就是要保湿再保湿。尤其是睡觉
前，一定要好好护肤，因为晚上是皮肤保养的最佳时段。我觉得脖子尤其上半部分要和
脸一样保养，这样才能保持一个好的contour，contour很重要。
然后就是防晒啦，有人还说这是唯一有效的anti-aging的办法呢。总之美国人非常强调
这个。
还有一个基本的就是exfoliate，以前这里有人争过这个，大概因肤质而异吧，但
exfoliate是应该的，大概只有次数多少的问题。然后用toner，我倒不知道为啥这边的
toner经常兼做cleanser.
然后就是各种面膜，还有各种现在可以自己在家里用的仪器了。当然去professional的
更好了。但有一些自己可以做，我用 at-home light therapy，这个没有什么副作用。

其实commute到san jose也才2个小时, 等高铁建好了就45分钟

you got spoiled in this big rural area. Think of life in Beijing/Shanghai/
NYC
areas. 2-hr one way commute may be just normal.
Besides, don't think of any equivalent pay cut for commute, unless someone
is
willing to pay you for the time you save from commute.

bj/sh/nyc are all abnormal. ppl accept that just b/c they have to. they are pathetic, not the ideal model to follow.
excluding 8-hr sleep, 4-hr counts for 25% of ur normal life.
also, driving for 2-hr is quite different from taking train for 2-hr. at
least on train u can read and surf web. what can u do on the high way?
