朋友20个月大的孩子stage 4 Neuroblastoma cancer 去哪里治最好？

妈妈05年08年两次来美, 每次停留都是给了6个月, 她待的时间都没有超过3个月, 上次
签证今年4月过期, 今年选中信免面签.周一早晨交表, 周三通知签证通过, 明天在北京
的哥哥去帮她拿签证和护照回来.
材料: 156, 157, 中英文对照邀请信(就是给妈妈的一封家信, 邀请她过来过秋天, 看
fall color), 新旧护照
我的状态: F-1 OPT

要开始看机票了,太贵了, 纠结啊...有deal的同志多沟通啊.....俺娘只飞CO的, 有同
飞的也联络一下吧, 她时间很flexible, prefer8月中下旬.

我工作后，就搬了。
我这个roomamate 最后坚持在她老公的一辆破车里住着半年多还是一年，我听别人说的
，最终拿到学位，回国了。
我真的很佩服这样的人，能够坚持理想，不为现实生活改变的人。
她那个美钞画的， 真是太精致了。
我为人还是很随和的，跟历届roomate 相处都还好，有的十来年成了闺蜜，但是对这个
roomate 确实感觉到了距离， 可能真是感觉到了自己在她面前是个凡夫俗子，没有多少共同语言吧

个人只用过 Western Digital 的硬盘，没出过什么问题。
但网上有些评论认为 WD 的 TB 级的硬盘不可靠。
大家意见如何？能推荐一个牌子吗？

too late, not much can be done: either try high dose chemotherapy at any
hospital close to you; or find some clinical trials to join.
MSKCC has some antibody-based immunotherapies that prolong survival by 6-10
months. i believe they are still in clinical trials.

谢谢，所以如果去MSKCC试一下的话，大概费用要多少？
他们人在大陆，所以没有美国的医疗保险

if the kid is eligible to enroll in one of the trials, the treatment will be
free and MSKCC international office will assist them for traveling to the
US. the family will be responsible for travel expenses. they will ask for
medical records and likely tumor tissue for testing before deciding how to
proceed.
there are some stage 4 patients living for more than 6 years after receiving
one of the trial treatments.

I strongly recommend MSKCC. Ask for Dr. Shakeel Modak. Other big centers in
the U.S. Including children's hospital Los Angeles, children's hospital of
Philadelphia and Baylor.

如果上次签证时 已经留了10个手指的指纹 代签就不需要了

一般人申请B2探亲都可以免面签吗？还是只照顾行动不便的啥的？

中信免面签第一次申请肯定不行，需要拿到过签证的，而且还要有一些别的规定，
每个地方规定不同，具体看使领馆主页上面

请到使馆网页查询可以使用免面签服务的具体要求, 说的很清楚啊...
简单说就是签证快到期或过期一年内, 申请同类签证, 可以免面签. 14岁以下80岁以上
, 无拒签的, 也可以免
