I have a dell 17R(N7010) w/ i3-370m and 2G Ram. I want to buy another 2G
ram for it. According to intel, i3-
370m use DDR3 800/1066, but dell's website lists 17R/N7010 with DDR3 1333.
And the 2G ram there is DDR3
1333. There are some really cheap DDR3 1066 floating on ebay. Can I use it
? (buy 2x2 1066 to replace the
existing 1333 ram as well) Will that affect the performance comparing to
1333?

i3 can only set ram frequency up to 1066 even your ram supports 1333 or
higher.

Thanks. So 1066 is enough. It is odd that Dell use something more than
enough, waste the resource.
