我现在用comcast的internet + phone service,是从comcast租的猫(Arris)，不想付租
费，换成自己买的省钱。因为电话也是通过Arris modem ，所以想买一个modem
combined with router (wireless) + telephone outlet (Arris has something like
tel 1 and tel 2 outlets to connect the phone line).有推荐吗？应该用modem +
router combined or buy them separately. 以后电话想transfer to ooma。modem +
router combined 适用吗？多谢！

说明一下。我是问要不要买 modem 自带 router 和 voice line 的。还是modem
router分开买。In either case, I need a modem with voice line. Probably like
this one?

电话功能比较鸡肋啊，，，经常有广告没？

用 comcast internet + 电话, modem 就是这么设置的。大家是不是也这样？我们这儿
只有一家provider。

市面上买不到带电话功能的。即使你买到了99%的可能是comcast不会给你激活。
我是用twc，自己买modem上网，电话还是用twc的猫上带的。
估计comcast也是一样的。

那你是怎么弄两个modem的呢？Comcast 有 voice line, 接电话线。而且如果你用
Comcast 的modem 的话，要月租。而我正是要get rid of comcast's modem to avoid
the rental fee.

两个猫都接上就行啊。
twc是不再收猫月租费的。
关于3合1的猫我已经说过了。comcast可能不给你激活，你最好在买之前问一下。
