看到一个房子，外观看是标准的Townhouse, 两层，只有一边和邻居连。Redfin上说是
Townhouse。Agent查了之后说建的时候property type是Condominium。
朋友都说Condo不好，不保值。要买Townhouse。Agent说property type不重要，关键要
看买下的
地有多大。是这样吗？

I now have windows 10 and I have google and MS chinese input methods,
however, using 1. left alt + shift, 2. left ctrl + shift, 3. Windows + space
, none of them will bring me the chinese input?
BTW, fuck the new mitbbs new website

你看的那个是townhouse,不是condo.

if no upstairs/downstairs neighbors then it is considered townhouse.

this is no differnce between TH and condo, but totally different from SFH.
For condo or TH, you buy a share of the whole building. If the structure of
other family has problem, you have to pay.

I agree, there is almost no difference between townhouse and condo.

townhouse refers to the type of the building, it could be condo or fee
simple which refer to the ownership/property type.
for condo, all the owners in the community together own the piece of land,
for fee simple, you own your own lot.
