Multi-objective Adaptive Clonal Selection Algorithm

Conversion Systems and Load Uncertainty
Abstract: In this paper a solution of multi-objective optimal power flow
problem using an
adaptive Clonal selection algorithm (MOACSA) with the incorporation of wind
energy
conversion system (WECS) is presented. As the available wind power is
stochastic in nature
it requires an appropriate tool for OPF problem. Minimization of operating
cost of thermal &
wind units and minimization of transmission loss or voltage stability index
(L-index) are two
conflicting objectives, therefore multi-objective optimization technique (
MOACSA) is
proposed to get Pareto optimal set of solutions. Non-dominated sorting and
crowding
distance have been used to find and manage the Pareto optimal front. Finally
, a fuzzy based
mechanism has been used to select a compromise solution from the Pareto set.
The proposed
MOACS algorithm has been tested on IEEE 30-bus test system having three
conventional
and three wind power generators. Simulation results are also compared with
NSGA-II,
MOPSO and MODE methods. It is clear from the comparison that the proposed
method is
able to generate true and well distributed Pareto optimal solutions for
multi-objective OPF
problem under both normal load and load uncertainty conditions.

I reviewed for this journal before, it helped me. I think it does not matter
what kind of journals you review for, as long as you have some good ones
and some are just for the numbers.
I am still waiting for the mitbbs emails:)
