Work Description: Translating informal Mandarin into English using Amazon’s
Mechanical Turk
Requirements:
* Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
* Native or near-native fluency in English.
* Able to learn new tasks quickly.
Current Pay Rate: $1.00/assignment, each 40 to 60 words; thousands of
assignments available!
Work at your own pace from anywhere you have a connection to the Internet.
Details: We are researching techniques for developing machine translation
systems using informal text, such as from web forum discussions and tweets.
We are looking for translators to produce quality English translations that
preserve the content and style of the original Mandarin, with accurate
English grammar.
