公司招一个senior buyer.
200人左右的小公司, 在湾区,santa clara.
最好有身份.
以下是基本要求.
Reports to: Sr Materials Manager
Primary Responsibilities:
• Gather quotations, examine bids, and make awards
• Identify and drive proactive cost reduction
• Support new supplier qualification activities
• Strategic sourcing activities, including supplier consolidation
• Support engineering teams on new designs and EOL replacements
• Exercises sound judgement for all sourcing activities, quoting,
supplier consolidation, cost reductions, and production buys
Qualifications:
Required
• 5~8 years of related industry experience
• Demonstrated purchasing and negotiation skills
• MRP system knowledge
• Highly proficient in Excel – pose as question in Taleo
Desired
• Offshore contract manufacturing experience in either planning or
purchasing
• Working in an organization having multiple product lines, high
mix & low volume
• Experienced in NPI, sourcing and locating difficult items
• Experienced in commodity buying: Box builds, PCBA’s, Optics,
Optical assy’s
Education:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work related experience
• APICS or CPIM certification a plus
