历史:
There is no grievance that is a fit object of redress by mob law...
...one of the two positions is necessarily true; that is, the thing
is right within itself, and therefore deserves the protection of
all law and all good citizens; or, it is wrong, and therefore proper
to be prohibited by legal enactments; and in neither case, is the
interposition of mob law, eight necessary, justifable, or excusable.
-- Abraham Lincoln.
现实
吴法天被人民群众揍了。
感叹
When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where
they make no pretense of loving of liberty - to Russia, for instance,
where depotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of
hypocracy.
-- Abraham Lincoln.
