请教一下这里的各位老师。小弟是普通学校(专业排名也普通)的，目前在学校是
research scientist这种类型的职位。写了2次NSF，第一次没中，去年第二次投NSF-
Grant
opportunity in liaison with industry (unsolicited)，算了个budget近40万，结
果最近PM突然发信给我，让我砍掉近10万!!再给他个updated budget。我是唯一的PI，
外加其他co-PIs，包括企业的。
现在在申请tenure-track教职(AP)，这种结果对申请有多少帮助？如果给申请学校发
update，学校的faculty search committee会怎么看呢？他/她们是否会给这种结果给
与额外考虑呢？
