How long Amazon Payment will hold the $1# Money - 海外理财

I added the gift card number to my Amazon Payment account on 6/7/12. As
today, Amazon Payment still holds the $1 for the card. So I can only
transfer the card value -$1 to my friend's account. Should I give it up and
cancel the card or should I keep waiting (and for how long)? Any experienced
tx can tell. Thank you.
