帮朋友问的，公司在woburn,朋友背景是ph.d, 在西岸工作过两年，给的title是
electrical design engineer, 公司给你basic salary 是85,000/year + bonus, 这个
数值是不是有点低？

是给的有点低。我不是学electrical engineering的。不过PhD+experience+North
East这工资是我们这种烂专业才有可能的哦，EE应该不会吧。

理论上是可以的，实际中也是可以的，但是这个是有风险的。。。。

Is the risk the same as transferring between accounts or something specific?

Boston area's pay is usually lower than other IT locations such as Bay area,
Austin and Seattle. Don't know why. Its living cost is much higher than
Austin.

transferring to someone u don't know could be risky
because he/she may be a ticket reseller, who can easily become a target of
Chase Blacklist
if he/she gets caught

还好了，三年工作经验以内都是Junior level，跟fresh phd区别不大
boston的fresh phd 给85k还算合理

I think even Austin's positions for fresh offer average 90k+, not that different from Bay area. Portland, etc. are similar for EEers. Not that it is a big
difference, but companies in Boston seem to be still thinking Bay area pays
the highest and they need pay lower than that, not realizing that nowadays
many less expensive locations pay the same.

有可能被chase砍账户，你可以考古，前一段时间很多人都是买卖point被chase关了~~
