Hi, we're planning to take our daughter back to china to visit her
grandparents, we have not applied her passport here yet.
it seems that we could apply either visa or 旅行证 for her according to
information on chinese consulate website

根据《中华人民共和国国籍法》，父母双方或一方为中国公民，本人出生在外国，
具有中国国籍，前往中国时应申办中国旅行证件。父母双方或一方为中国公民并定居在
外国，本人出生时即具有外国国籍的，不具有中国国籍，前往中国时应申办中国签证。"
问一下有经验的父母, which one should we apply? or my understanding is
incorrect here..
some differences
--- application fee
--- our daughter needs to be in person for 旅行证 application

父母双方都没有绿卡，而且都不是美国公民，父母都是中国国籍的，给孩子办旅行证。
一旦父母双方有任何一方拿到绿卡，或者，成为美国公民，就得给孩子办签证；
这是我在DC的使馆办理窗口听来的，跟当初俺在网上查的不太一样。
