1. 我爸妈是属于Dependent of US citizen / resident alien的吗？我和老公都是H-
1B；
2. "Enter name and SSN of US citizen / resident alien"是否要填入我和老公的名
字和SSN。我们是联合报税；
3. 在6c栏里填入爸妈的visa后需要到immigration网站上去打印他们的I-94，附在申请
里吗？
4. 什么是IRSN or EIN阿？这个我们是不是不用理睬？
5. 我是应该让我爸妈自己在W-7上签名还是由我作为"delegate“的代签？如果是后者
的话，是不是还要填个什么Form2848?
6. 寄到Austin Service Center的材料除了我们的1040、W-7以及爸妈的护照，还需要
别的材料吗？

I don't think you are eligible unless you are residence alien (greencard)

dependent只能是子女或者配偶。

除了3错，5他们自己照着护照底页的签字来签就好。其余都对。

你这纯属瞎说啊，The term “dependent” means:
A qualifying child, or
A qualifying relative.
你仔细看看税表instruction上qualifying relative包括哪些再给人建议吧。

Not True. You are a resident alien of the United States for tax purposes if
you meet either the green card test or the substantial presence test for the
calendar year
