It has been proved the answers from CSRs are sometimes not consistent and
bullshit. The program won't honor what CSRs have said. The terms/conditons
is the only thing you could rely on or fight with if something bad
happens.
Clearly, the terms/conditions states: Capital One will match up to 100,000
miles that were previously earned through ****any single eligible airline
credit card program***
and pay attention to the rate list below, they do use credit card program (
AA card) instead of AA advantage program as the target.
So my 2 cents, if you got 100k or nearly 100k miles earned through your CC (
from application or daily use), JUMP now! It is well worth it.
If you got 100k miles in certain program that was accumulated by "
flying", DON'T JUMP, u may end up with nothing.
If your miles ARE from CC while it is below 50k miles (say like 30k miles), u may jump or not while I am sort of inclined to the latter coz miles are depreciating so crazy... and anything below 50k miles may not worth a hard pull, especially C1 is notable for pulling from 3 bureaus...
