很多学校都是通过academicjobsonline提交申请。我填好了referees他们会自动
request letter还是需要我发送reminder? 在这个网站的账户里，我看到好些学校都是
incomplete,缺某个或某两个推荐人。这种情况材料会被hold不送审吗？谢谢

The system will send out a request automatically upon your submission. But
you can also send a reminder to your letter writers when it approaches the
deadline. Even if it shows the incomplete icon, the schools will still be
able to view your files. Sometimes, they will ask you to complete the
application. That is my personal experience with the website.

谢谢。我觉得有点奇怪。我申了好几个学校，都用这个网站，我每个都点了reminder，
但是最后总是只有一个学校受到推荐信。我怀疑是不是多个学校同一天点，只会给我的
推荐信发一个reminder？我选的是tailoring的letter。是不是应该选generic？
