个人觉得Nexus7大小挺适合做导航
(不像先前把iPad MINI mount 在挡风玻璃上会挡住视线)
车载的导航就让它只显示小地图, Overall 路线.
ASUS Dock有PIN 只要放上去就能充电
缺点是过大坑可能会掉下来
如果要长期用看来得想办法固定

Vehicle is KIA Sportage EX 2011,
My Nexus 7 is WIFI only, it has GPS.

什么, 这么坑爹的东西你还说好. 就一MICRO USB充电口, 连喇叭都没有.
极度不推荐.
除非象楼主有特殊需要.

优点是轻轻放上去就能充电
不用每次接MicroUSB线
N7电池不如iPad MINI耐用一不小心忘记充电就没电了
所以我还买了另外个放桌上用个人倒觉得很方便

Google Map是不是常用区域都通过Make Available Offline先下载到硬件了？

假离线，你自己试试，下载完airplane mode，再尝试navigate

这个只能下地图就着小蓝点定位。不过已经很实用了。
导航寻路功能还是需要数据的

你人没有overheat，机器overheat了，那就是机器问题，在屋里也会overheat。
“看了就晕”：在屋里你不晕就是你不会用，在屋里晕就去检查身体。

What offline GPS app do you use?
I use Navfree US and it sucks in terms of street address search.

By the way Navigon app is also good.
Neither of them are Free though.

主要就是屏幕够大，另外可以同时放个评书啥的解闷。
用spiderpodium phone holder挂在冷气口上。

I place my phone(LG L9) horizontally on the transparent instrument panel for
navigation. It doesn't shake much due to good friction from its silicon
skin. As it's under shade of instrument panel, hopefully it'll not overheat
during summer.

I use this dash grip to secure the dock and it also absorbs "shake".

Some reviewers at Amazon complained that dash grip left residue on the dash.
I guess you haven't encountered this problem?
I bought a similar dash grip from taobao a while ago. I haven't tried it due
to the same concern. Thanks for sharing.
One review from Amazon:
"The item grips your items just fine HOWEVER, it will leave a sticky residue
on your dash. I have a brand new Fusion and now I have a square that is a
bit different in color thanks to this POS. I have been working to get it off
but it is still there. Leave it alone unless you have a dash you could care
less about."

极度不推荐N7作为GPS, 声音太小, 在高速上面跑, 车本身的噪声完全压制N7的声音
(当然, 如果你的车很高级, 噪声很小, 那就无所谓)
GPS没有声音提示, 很不方便

我的10年久车都没问题。。。
N7的音量没问题，和普通gps比过。

1，是不是亮度都可以自动调节？夜里和白天晴天需要的亮度恐怕不同。
2，投射角度可以变吗？不同的车玻璃，字体会不会扭曲变形？
3，投射位置高度什么的可以调节吗？
其实好像我只需要个时速就够了。

(Mainly about just your speed in two number, e.g. 75, should not affect
use).
3. Sure, depending the position you would like to paste to your dashboard.
