美国移民律师协会(AILA)在4月23日发布消息称，经过美国国务院的确认，2012财年中
印两国的EB-2签证名额已用完，没有更多的签证名额供这两国的申请人使用。移民局目
前将继续接受那些排期已到的身份调整申请。不过，因为签证名额已用完，移民局现在
不会处理那些申请，I-485申请人要等到2013财年（从2012年10月1日开始）开始有新的
签证名额后才能获批拿到绿卡。

Folks,
I just returned from an Infopass appointment this morning and learnt some
disturbing news. As it turns out, the Department of State rolled back the
EB2 India visa dates on November 17th. That's why the approvals that we have
seen since then have been reduced dramatically. I'm not sure why they
rolled them back before December 1, but I'm thinking that they ran out of
visa numbers. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I got screwed by this
as well.
Congratulations to those who made it pass the finish line. For the rest of
us, the wait continues. God alone knows for how long.....

2014年5月9日：EB3C 排期倒退。
Thank you for your May XX, 2014, inquiry on behalf of your constituent, XXX,
regarding the visa availability for the pending Form I-485, Application to
Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, as an employment-based 3rd
preference (EB-3) visa applicant.
The EB-3 category for persons born in China retrogressed to a cutoff date of
October 1, 2006 as a result of the demand for visa numbers exceeding the
available supply. Therefore, as of May 9, 2014, the Department of State (
DOS) will only send USCIS authorization on visa numbers for the EB-3
category for foreign nationals from China if the visa priority date is prior
to October 1, 2006.
Visa requests for the remaining applications that are not allocated visa
numbers will be placed in the DOS “pending” demand file. These cases will
be adjudicated to completion and assigned a visa number when the priority
dates are advanced beyond the applicant’s priority date.

先要打孔，第二次fish tape穿线过这个孔，都是在墙里看不见，可以想象多难，
我准备ebay上买个usb的长线的摄像头，伸到墙里看看，

今年催绿打的T2，问出的最后一次485被touch是在去年5月20号，可惜那个时候已经内
部U了，说是倒退到06年只是奥本的借口。如果不是内部U的话，我一年前就很有可能就
绿了。打完电话真的是心里默骂某人一千遍。

应该可以。这个是livingsocial的丢。不是new customer 的丢。所以和你以前买没买
过东西没有关系

要会变通。
我穿两个木板的时候，是直接用钻头钻通。钻头不要拔出来，后面缠上透明胶，然后再
缠上根线，钻头从另一边出来。这时线就在里面了。
然后用线把fish tap拖回来，这样就可以"fish"了。

U.S. Department of State confirms that FY 2012 annual limit for China and
India EB-2 category has been reached
As we reported in the March 2012 issue of the Immigration eAuthority, the U.
S. Department of State (DOS) announced that, effective March 23, 2012, no
further EB-2 category immigrant visas will be authorized for China-mainland
born and India applicants with priority dates later than August 15, 2007. On
April 23, 2012, the DOS announced that the annual limit for the China-
mainland born and India EB-2 categories has in fact been reached and,
therefore, no green card applications in these categories will be approved
until the beginning of the new fiscal year, which is October 1, 2012.

你说的对。
认清有可能发生的形式，提早做好各种准备，
比如排期晚的，做好心理准备，
比如就差临门一脚的，赶紧想尽一切办法做好一搏，
如果发生了就是发生了，没发生的话是人人希望的。
另外奥本对老中名额缺斤短两的是惯性的，FY2013，我计算2类少给300多，3类少400多。
