时间线：
1. 9/9/13 收到USCIS的email，说已经收到我的申请
2. 10/17/13 EAD ordered for production
3. 10/17/13 左右，收到I-797说明EAD申请已经被approved
4. 这之后一周都没有收到信，USPS网站上的tracking确显示已经delivered。 之后尝
试联系USPS找回丢失的信件，未果。

基本和之前的申请一样。 不同的是要提供上次申请的两个Receipt（一个是收到材料，
一个是EAD approved） $380的申请费是必不可少的

7. 1/31/14 EAD ordered for production
8. 2/3/14 收到EAD卡
关于让朋友代收EAD
我两次都是请朋友代收的EAD
1. 要在信箱内部和外部都写上自己的名字。 邮递员投递的时候主要看信箱内部的名字。
2. 貌似最好的解决方案是寄到学校的ISSO？
如何在EAD丢失的情况下入职
根据I-9的说明，EAD丢失了也是可以入职的。但具体情况因人而异。
I-9:

In section 2, page 4, in the I-9 instruction, the receipt rule states that:
"If an employee is unable to present a required document (or documents), the
employee can present an acceptable receipt in lieu of a document from the
List of Acceptable Documents on the last page of this form".
And the first type of acceptable receipts is:
"A receipt showing that the employee has applied to replace a document that
was lost, stolen or damaged. The employee must present the actual document
within 90 days from the date of hire."

我的情况是，原定12/2/13到Amazon入职，结果10月底发现EAD丢失。 之后我马上发信
给Amazon的HR。 HR说这种情况下不能入职，会等我拿到EAD再说。 我摆出I-9的说明也
被无视。 知道11/21/13， HR发信给我说，可以凭借下面的材料入职， 不过这时候我
恰好拿到了LinkedIn的offer，于是只好发信说不能去了。
Amazon需要的材料：
1) Original I-797 Receipt Notice for lost EAD card application
2) Original I-797 Approval Notice for the original EAD card (if you received
the approval notice)
3) Updated and current I-20 documents from your school showing the period of
OPT that was approved
4) Original passport and F-1 I-94 card

LinkedIn这边，HR一直很热心，发了Offer之后就帮我联系公司的法律部门，并且很快
告诉我可以凭上面列出的材料入职。 我于是等到1/6/14凭着上述材料入职了。
