Dear Senate Yee,
As you know, SCA5 proposes using race as a key factor for admission decision
making for University of California system.
I'd strongly urge you to change your position and fight against SCA5. Just
as Martin Luther King said 41 years ago, no child should be judged by the
color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Your child(ren) deserve this dream. Every American child deserves this dream
. Do you agree?
It is about right or wrong. The answer differentiates a statesman from the
politicians. It is one of the darkest date in California history that on Jan
30, 2014, twenty seven democratic senators voted yes to this bill.
What a shame!
There is still opportunity to drop this bill. Now again it's your choice
which side you would like to be, facing your own heart and soul in quiet
night. Every voter who stands with Martin Luther King's words will watch
your choice, and decide who they are going to vote for next time.
History has told, and will tell again, what is right.
