1Eligibility. This offer will be available for a new
TIAA Direct High Yield Savings account, applied for online or by calling 844
-642-7814 using promotion code Only one (1) offer is available per customer.
This offer is only intended for the addressee of this email, may not be
combined with any other offers from TIAA Direct and is not available to
existing savings customers.
Offer Terms. TIAA Direct will credit a $250 bonus to a new High Yield
Savings account if the account is opened by 12/05/2016, at least $15,000 is
deposited within 10 days of account opening and at least that minimum
balance is maintained in the account every day through the 90th day after
account opening. Funds transferred from an existing TIAA Direct account do
not count toward the qualifying minimum balance for this promotional offer.
The bonus payment will be reported as interest to the Internal Revenue
Service (IRS).
Payment of Bonus. If the qualifications described above are met, the $250
bonus will be credited to the account within 91 to 104 days of account
opening, provided that the account remains open and is not overdrawn or

3 General Account Terms and Requirements. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY)
for the High Yield Savings account depends on the balance in the account.
Effective as of 10/10/2016, APY for all balance tiers is 0.65%. All rates
are variable and subject to change without notice before or after the
account is opened. Interest is compounded daily, based on the rate in effect
at the end of the day. The minimum opening deposit for a High Yield Savings
account is $100, which must be made within 60 days of account opening or
the account may be closed. Fees could reduce earnings on the account.
4 Transfers and withdrawals from a High Yield Savings are generally limited
to a combined total of six per monthly statement cycle. Cash withdrawals and
transfers to your other TIAA Direct accounts using an ATM do not count
toward this limit. An Excessive Transaction Fee of $5 will be charged for
each covered transfer or withdrawal that exceeds the six transaction limit.
Additionally, if you exceed this limit more than occasionally, your account
may be closed and converted to an Interest Checking account. Refer to the
