1. Consider a wireless network wherein all transmissions on the wireless
channel are performed at a fixed transmission rate R and a fixed transmit
power P at each node. Consider a single TCP connection in this network. Can
TCP throughput decrease when the above transmission rate R is increased (

2. In a mobile ad hoc network, when the speed of movement of the nodes is

I just got my new PC with Vista. But I got some problem. I hope someone
could help me out.
I can read read Chinese from IE. But why cannot I read any Chinese with the
system, e.g. when I installed ZiGuang PinYin. I cannot even read the
instructions for installation.
Did I miss something? I already add Chinese as one language format. Now I
cannot even type Chinese.
Can anyone help me out? I have worked on this for the whole night, now I am
really hopeless.

1) 功率保持不变而速率增大，可以认为源和目标节点之间中间节点增多，这样即使单个
link的速率增加，但是由于跳数增多带来的intra-flow interfence，TCP的throughput
会下降
2) 简言之，mobility increases the capacity。具体来说，当节点运动速度增加，使
得TCP源和目的节点成为neighbor的概率增加，这样只要one-hop数据就能deliver了。
总之，跳数很影响性能。

功率保持不变，可以通过把相邻节点的距离减小，这样link的速率就增大了
如果源和目的节点的距离不变，要保持这个提高后的速率，就要增加中间的节点。

For Question 2 you can refer to the paper "Mobility inceases the
Capacity of Ad hoc Wireless networks" by Grossglauser et al. Here

basically speaking, due to mobility of nodes, the source and destination
nodes has possibility to be very close so that during a short time
the link capacity can be significantly large.
For question 1, I think the description of question is very unclear.
