Which position has better career opportunities? which one would you choose
and why?
- A big company (fortune 50) BI/Reporting team,
Teradata/MSSQL/ETL but on a business team with IT outsourced,
have limited admin access (not full DBA access).
better benefit,
Okay/good salary+bonus
Flexible work hour (6-8 hours/day, work from home)
- A small expanding hedge fund company,
design OLTP MSSQL from scratch with
combined data modeling and DBA role.
better salary+bonus,
so-so benefit,
long work hours (9-10 hours/day).
