functional stakeholders, external partners, and other functions to identify
business problems and solve strategic and tactical issues requiring
quantitative analysis for resolution. Fundamental Components: Extract,
collect, analyze and interpret digital media, advertising data, web
analytics, health and financial data from many sources to address business
questions regarding population health management, health and economic
outcomes, quality of healthcare, healthcare program and product design,
healthcare provider network design and other business needs.Experience with
digital analytic solutions and marketing technology highly desired. Develop,
validate and execute algorithms, statistical models and reporting tools
that answer applied research and business questions for internal and
external clients. Utilize a robust set of technology tools to build
innovative solutions to support a customer centric analytical strategy.
Collaborate with internal and external partners and organizations in the
design and execution of analytic studies to answer business and research
questions. Responsible for project commitments to quality and on-time
deliverables. This position is a hands on position where the candidate will
be expected to lead and complete analytical product solutions in support of
the business.
What You Will Do:
Break down product vision into user stories and manage development from
concept to release.
Design dashboards and interactive interfaces from concept to production.
Manage 3rd-party relationships with vendors providing key technology for our
administrative and analytics systems.
Lead QA efforts with development teams for accurate, high-quality, and
timely product delivery.
Create product documentation for internal and external customers.
Analyze data and industry trends to drive product enhancements.
Support and inform multiple marketing teams across major business units.
Create analytic models in a new and constantly evolving big data environment.
Create algorithms in support of new health care based marketing efforts
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired: A minimum of 3- 5 years of directly relevant
experience in quantitative business analysis role(s) (preferably in the
insurance industry or consumer finance industry). Demonstrated Project
Management and/or team leadership experience Experience in manipulating
large datasets and samples Strong analytical skills used to identify and
resolve problems EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for
candidates in this position is a Master's degree.
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION Strong understanding of analytical tools and
technologies with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience with a statistical
software (SAS, or R) and SQL (in a large database environment or Hadoop.)
Hands on experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig and BI Tools such as Tableau.
Experience with designing complex data models based on granular non-
aggregated log level data sources. Excellent understanding of test and learn
initiatives and other statistical techniques used to provide analytical
support. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to utilize statistical and/or technical tools to analyze and solve
business problems. Ability to conceptualize business problems, execute
solutions, and present findings in a simple manner.
Masters degree in a relevant quantitative area such as, but not limited to,
Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance,
Business, Physics, etc.
