A State Department official has indicated that EB-2 priority dates for India and China could move ahead by four months in December, to March 1, 2008. EB -3 priority dates are expected to advance by one to three weeks for India and China and one month for all other countries. Exact priority date cut- offs will be officially announced when the State Department issues its December Visa Bulletin in the coming days. The State Department is planning to move EB-2 dates further ahead in December because there has been less green card demand than expected in recent months. Similar EB-2 advancements are possible in January and February 2012 if demand continues to be low. EB-3 is expected to continue to advance by one to three weeks for India and China and one month for all other countries in January and February.
