Thesis does not make any big difference. The matter is whether you have
relative expericence or background.
Hib is not a problem as long as you can find a employer to support it.

I think thesis does make some difference if you realy did something.
You can give a short presentation regarding your research when you have
onsite interview. That will be impressive espically for fresh Master without
working experience.
