i am confused by "make the Dean's list"from an American's ps
could any of u explain it for me? i ll be so thankful~

Dean's list 是一种荣誉称号吧，应该和优秀学生之类的差不多，
每个学校都有，有时可以在校报上看到，但由来我就不清楚了。

if u get straight A's in one sememster, u will make the dean's list for the
semester

for us, straight As (in another word 4.0 GPA) will make you to the
Chancellor's list. can't remember exactly the requirement for Dean's list.
maybe 3.5 GPA.;)

the
it counts the overall GPA. :) at least that is what I remember. and for each
yr only. not one semester. :)
