General
ADM Accounting has experienced significant growth and an increase in demand
for our services. There has been an increase in financial disclosure
requirements, a demand for more timely information, a need to have
comprehensive consolidation management analytics and reporting tools, and a
larger and more complex corporate structure. Project Cornerstone started as
a response to these challenges in producing effective financial and
management reports. Phase 1 of Cornerstone focused on a high-level
assessment of our current state financial and management reporting systems
and processes, a future state visioning and gap analysis, and the
development of an implementation roadmap and supporting business case. In
Phase 2 of Cornerstone, the project will focus on 5 key areas: Strategy &
Alignment, Information Governance, Data Model, Process & Reporting and
Technology. Cornerstone's vision is one of automated internal and external
financial reporting supported by robust data governance with user based
report development and drill down capability to deliver world class
information and insight.
The person in this position will assist the program director in managing
various cross-project dependencies within the overall Cornerstone roadmap,
and may assist with specific workstream activities. In addition, this person
will assist in coordinating Cornerstone project activities to ensure
alignment with other company initiatives and stakeholders. This person may
be called upon to serve as acting director in the absence of the program
director.
Experience
~ Minimum 9 years professional experience

~ Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, IT or equivalent
~ Experience managing and motivating multi-national, multi-disciplinary
teams
~ Prior leadership position on a financial transformation project
~ Strong oral and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal
skills to develop support and engagement from
various stakeholders
~ Ability to handle multiple priorities, work under time constraints and
meet deadlines
~ Strong analytical abilities; strategically and tactically thinking to
bring ADM's goals to realization
~ Ability to effectively identify, define and facilitate the implementation
of project initiatives
Responsibilities
~ Assess and support appropriate resources globally for the project
~ Identify organizational improvement opportunities
~ Review and approve detailed work plans and change communication strategy
~ Assist in integrating project plans across the program
~ Coordinate and align project activities with other related company
projects and stakeholders
~ Provide global leadership to the organization through participation in key
executive and steering meetings
~ Prioritize and assist with initiatives assigned by program sponsors,
steering committee and project director
~ Develop and monitor appropriate measurement tools to evaluate ongoing
project performance
~ Assist with development of work stream lead(s) goals and development plans
; regularly monitoring and providing feedback
to employee(s)
~ Assist in identifying and mitigating program and project risks
~ Assist with development of change communication plans, issues escalation
and resolution processes, and steering
committee updates
~ Ensure proper knowledge transfer between external resources and ADM team
~ Some domestic and international travel may be required.
