Win2000, Ie5.00
Everytime I visit a Chinese website, I select view-> encoding -> Simplified
Chinese, and the install window pops up. But it trys to install from the
CD-ROM!! not download from the web like other computers.
Unfortunately, I don't have the install CD.
I think I need to change some system configuration. Anyone can provide some
info?
BTW: the option -> "enable install on demand" is on.

Don't tell me NJstar. It doesn't work for me sometimes.

then, try windowsupdate, update your win or ie

But I downloaded IE5SP2 and installed it. And still the same problem.
Maybe I should try IE6?
In fact, it is my friend's computer. So It is not appropriate for me
to play around on it.

search in microsoft
they shd provide a package (but not in Windows Update)
