I met the following problem several times, I could solve it by logging out and
then logging in again. but this time, i have tried all ways I knwo, it still
exists, please help me check what is going on there.
The problem is:
I only use one profile, and all my bookmarks are in this profile. but when my
computer is crashed and restarted, if I want to open Mozilla, it always tell
me that I can't use this profile since it is in use! How can I do? I want to
use this profile.
Help! Thanks a lot!

firstly locate your profile directory,
On Windows the profile data is per default located in:
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Profiles\[profile name]\[random string].slt\
On a English Windows 2000 that's normally:
c:\Documents and Settings\[Windows Login Name]\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\[profile name]\[random string].slt\
Mac OS
On Macintosh the profile data is located in For Mac OS 9:
system disk::Documents::Mozilla::Profiles::[profile name]::[random string].slt
For Mac OS X:
~/Library/Mozilla/Profile
