it's a variant of rheumatoid arthritis. About half of the patients respond to
high-dose aspirin (eg, 1 g three times daily) or other NSAIDs (ibuprophen
etc), and half require prednisone, sometimes in doses greater than 60 mg/day.
About one-third of patients have recurrent episodes.
some of the IDs in this board may be able to give you the name of some
acupunturist/chinese medicine doctor who would claim to be able to cure this
disease though. but please be aware that 2/3 people will not have r
