我的case和版上很多人不太一样，我不是postdoc，08年跟着学校参加了一个四周的游
学项目，居然也被j-1困住了，现在为了办H1B就只能哼哧哼哧办waiver，一开始还不知
道这个办，于是走了各种弯路，现在总算办下来了，在中国这边耽误了近四个月，主要
是因为自己一开始没经验，个人陈述不知道怎么写，改了两遍。美国那边运气很不错，
DOS和USCIS加起来才一个半月。

10/16 “J-1签证豁免” 申请已受理

嗯，通过清海最近的访谈，结合大众对青海的反应，
看来即使以清海自己的标准，她自己都没证悟第二界，
因为显然不是“任何人听你一句话将感觉你是对的”，
未证言证，连第二界都没证悟就大谈五界九界。
也要发心忏悔啊。

1) Apple buys Sony Pictures and/or Sony Music for the contents.
2) Apple debuts their iPad 2G with Retina display weighing under 1.1lb for
the holiday shopping season. ( Been
waiting for this)
3) iTunes provides subscription service like Netflix (go short Netflix), $9.
99 for 5 movies a month, $4.99 for
10 songs a month, something like that.
What do you think?

我就觉得NOOKCOLOR挺好的，屏幕没有大家说的那么烂，反应挺灵敏的，当然我要求不
高我不是拿这个
当上网本来干活的，这个尺寸大小合适，翻翻彩色的杂志，听听音乐，看到有兴趣的东
西，顺手GOOGLE
一下或者WIKI很方便，从不少抱怨KINDLE或者NOOK的估计都指望着买一本就可以代替
这个代替那
个，实际上这些就是个READER，根本就不是全能本什么也代替不了

it will not be about iPad at all.
iPad has no competition just yet. stick to annual update cycle.
Subscription is possible, either TV or music.
Music in the cloud should happen.
It is possible Apple bought some content company. But that would make the
relationship with other content provider sour.

想问问楼主，08年的J1，按说应该是早就到期了，J1身份已经结束豁免会有问题吗。
我看到很多地方说需要至少半年J1有效期才可以申请，我现在的J1很快就到期了，很
担心还能不能豁免了。

顺便说一句，BN设计东西还是很精致的，比AMZ强很多，我那天去拿货的时候，
他们家配套有一柜子的COVER等等附件同时上市，价格高低不等，但是做工都非常好，
我开玩笑说，
看在套子上的份上，也要买一个玩一玩

轮子根本没啥期望，就是找个android based ereader好和它家祖宗的ipad比，然后获
得强烈的优
越感。不过没事给android增加shipment实在是很行为艺术，这要轮成什么地步呀？

就硬件和做工来说 nook color是值了
只是附加功能太弱比如视频 game当然更别考虑了
如果只作为彩色ereader的话还凑活了我看了本国家地理触摸有几次失效比如滑动
页面叫来店里小二也不知道怎么搞好

系统开放就好了，android很多apps不能用，白白浪费了硬件
BN自己的做的软件还有太多需要调节的地方

Jobs is a fan of beatles too.
anyway, I hope tomorrow they can play "imagine" as background music. Used to
be my favorite, before I turned evil.

Because a) it's a very big deal to Jobs and his generation. b) casual fans
can now buy Beatles songs from ITM
(assuming big fans would have already ripped CDs).

a very big deal for me.. lol.
I will spent probably another 100 to 200 dollars for the whole collection on
itune.
I love Beatles.

Apple never introduced products "You'll never forget" without a media event.
Apple would describe their products as "magical", "amazing", or "
revolutionary", but "You'll never forget" is personal. It has an obvious
sense of lyrics. And music, include that from the Beatles, is to most people
unforgettable. People has an attachment to music on a whole different level
compared to technologies, which are replaceable and in most cases just tools
to get things done, like listen to music.
Anybody who knows Apple won't expect anything other than Beatles from
yesterday's tease.
