Rooted Vitality 通过eBAY activate PagePlus. Dialed *22801 and phone
programming showed success. 但是现在只能收发短信，不能 dial in or dial out.
The only success was dialing #737 and I could hear the message "Welcome To
Page Plus Cellular" and was able to check my account has a credit of $2. 除
了#737， 不能打出和接收电话。尝试打出时，短暂嘟嘟两三声电话就自动ended.

加的时候必须用压力表，也挺贵的。
需要加了，也就说明空调漏了，要先查漏的程度，不是直接就加就行了。

You can get the freon from mexico cheap if you live in the border state, buy
a set of guages and add yourself, just make sure you get same type as your
existing kind, R-410A is common now, but older system could use R-12 or R-22
. Some system even use a blend.
Make sure you read the right line/refrigerant type on your guage too, too
much refrigerant is also bad.
If you have no experience, just hire someone.

no 危险, but leaked freon will destroy ozone.
Freon is a brand name for R-12 which was commonly used for ac system in cars many years ago.
You need to get the right kind of refrigerant for your system, not just freon.

Called Pageplus Customer Service. They had to do some programming on their
end then asked me to dial *22890 again. Now the Vitality is working nicely.

freon = R12，90年代中开始不用了。你无法legally买到freon。
只有像gezhi89说的到墨西哥买了偷带进来。
后面的用的是R-22，近几年开始也逐渐不用了。
最新的是R-410a，只有这个可以自己动手。个别也有用别的的。
chance is 你的空调不是R-410a的，否则现在就需要加的话
就是大问题了。
你的空调compressor哪里会有一个签，写着空调的specs，其中有
refrigerant type和capacity. 自己加要根据温度和capacity
计算压力，然后加到合适的压力。

without a license, which is illegal. Some articles like this one discussed

1, you can't legally buy R22 in store or online.
2, it's illegal to vent ozone depleting compounds into the air.
你加r22时很容易加多要排掉。没有抽气装置你只能排到空气里。
一句话，不值得这trouble。这不像capacitor坏了就买一个换上。
