但前几天manager找我谈话，说对我的表现不满。一个老印，我觉得情况不对，看来有
必要重新刷题了。
问一下h1b已经approve了，收到了纸质的材料。如果10.1之前被雷了，我是可以回到
opt状态，用60天的失业时间找工作？还是必须要在10.1之前找到？
如果opt找到工作的话，公司可以直接办h1b transfer是吧，不用等到明年四月？

需要个smart phone 替换。
ATT，11月中才到期，打电话不给early upgrade。
因为时间不是特别长，准备到时候换新的，所以也不想花太多钱。请教大家有没有什么
好的推荐？或者大家有什么手边的较新的手机要出也可以。

要在10.1之前找到，难度较大啊，现在题都忘了，公司根本不给时间interview。。。
。可以用opt的60天找么？

直接换成新的plan，不要签合同。这样便宜些，又不用被合同捆绑，手机看上哪个直接
买哪个就好了。

你现在应该是在opt吧，如果不幸中枪，个人认为应该还算opt阶段，不过如果不能马上
找到h1b接盘的公司，你的h1b quota就废了，明年还要重新抽。所以还是抓紧找下家吧
，按理说有工作经验了，应该不会太难找了。

大家的意思是说现在全价入个喜欢的手机吗？
“直接换成新的plan，不要签合同。这样便宜些”，
我知道如果用你自己的phone是没有合同，可是每月月pay为什么会不一样呢？
比如你从ATT弄个iphone，你pay了$199，剩下每月的钱，难道和你用自己的手机（不用
pay那199），每月的月费不一样吗？
不好意思，不太懂！

楼上的意思是如果你现在是family plan 人数超过两三个人那么就换成更为便宜的而
且数据流量更多的 family share value plan （例如：六七个人的话共享10G流量无
线通话短信每个人大概三十几块）唯一的要求是不能优惠价签约手机，但是每个月省
下来月费（我大概每个月能省下二十多块 24个月就是五百多块）加上签约时候的价钱
（比如199的iphone）基本已经能顶一个全价手机的价钱了而且这种share plan手机可
以自己随便买没有ATT的合约限制。在这种情况下根据大家的建议：可以现在全价
入一个喜欢的手机
如果你现在是individual plan或者不怎么需要数据流量或者只有两个人family plan
并且流量很少，每个月的钱也不是特别多。这种情况下，可以等待新手机出来再签约
，这样的话相对比较划算
其实最划算的肯定还是多找几个人一起family share value plan 当然也麻烦一点。

Q13. If the student has an approved H-1B petition and change of status, but
is laid off/terminated by the H-1B employer before the effective date, and
the student has an unexpired EAD issued for post-completion OPT, can the
student retrieve any unused OPT?
A13.Yes. The student will remain in student status and can continue working
OPT using the unexpired EAD until the H-1B change of status goes into
effect. The student also needs to make sure that USCIS receives a
withdrawal request from the petitioner before the H-1B change of status
effective date. This will prevent the student from changing to H-1B status.
Once the petition has been revoked, the student must provide their DSO
with a copy of the USCIS acknowledgement of withdrawal (i.e., the notice of
revocation). The DSO may then request a data fix in SEVIS, to prevent the
student from being terminated in SEVIS on the H-1B effective date, by
contacting the SEVIS helpdesk.
If USCIS does not receive the withdrawal request prior to the H-1B petition
change of status effective date, then the student will need to stop working,
file a Form I-539 to request reinstatement, and wait until the
reinstatement request is approved before resuming employment.
Q14. In cases where a student is authorized to work OPT past the H-1B change
of status effective date, can the student continue working on OPT if a
request to revoke/withdraw the H-1B change of status is submitted to USCIS?
A14. If the H-1B revocation occurs before the H-1B change of status
effective date, the student may continue working while the data fix remains
pending, because the student will still be in valid F-1 status.
If the H-1B revocation occurs on or after the H-1B change of status
effective date, the student will need to stop working before the H-1B change
of status effective date, apply for reinstatement, and wait until the
reinstatement request is approved before resuming employment.
NOTE: This is NOT a cap-gap situation since the student has an EAD
authorizing OPT beyond the H-1B change of status effective date.
Q15. Do students remain in valid F-1 status while the request to change the
OPT end date is pending?
A15. If the H-1B revocation occurs before the H-1B change of status
effective da te, the student is still deemed to be in F-1 status while the
data fix is pending.
If the H-1B revocation occurs after the H-1B change of status effective date
, the student will not be in valid F-1 status and will therefore either need
to apply for reinstatement or depart the United States.

我们现在用的就是family share value plan，2 line，85/m。
有一个手机不能用了，所以要换一个smart phone。
好像这样说来，买不买全价新手机，都很鸡肋！
Btw，是不是说如果我11月签新手机（比如199买iphone）那种就不能用family share
value plan了？

求核实，如果你已经有六年之内的cap quote h1b，另一家公司再给你重办h1b的时候是
cap exemption的，不用抽签，不需要等到10月1号才能上班。网上看很多烙印问这样的
问题，是这样的吗？

既然已经是value plan 那么以后就还是全价买手机
如果你11月签约199的手机那么签约的那个号码的月费会涨价到40刀每月
iphone 的确是售价高如果不赶潮流其他选择的话便宜好用的手机还是很多的~
MOTO X NEXUS 5 之类的原价就不高
国产还有很多不错的机子就是很多对美国的LTE支持不好

享受这种value plan的前提就是不能按合约价拿手机。
如果你们只有2个人在这个plan上，用的data很少，那的确还是拿合同机比较划算。但
是能用得上10g data，就是自己买手机好很多了。
拿合同机，每个月每条线基本费40。如果不拿合同机，data又超过10g，那每条线就变
成了15块，相当于每个月省25块。2年下来，就省了600块，用这钱，市面上的手机都随
便买了，还不受合同约束，一个手机用1年，还是3年都看自己心情和具体情况决定。
我一直在verizon的share plan上，6个人10g，data那部分钱有20%off。有的人还在合
同中，有的不在合同中。最近verizon也效仿tmobile和att，开始对off contract的线
打折了，我们一下就省了好多钱。不算税的话，不在合同中的人28/m，在合同中的人53
/m,算税差距还大点，不在合同中的33/m,在合同中的60/m。反正我们都是肯定不会再去
签合同的了，多花钱还受限制。

所以如果2 lines用的不是太多，每月多15，两年多360。
签不签都差不多了，区别就是：
一个你付199，每月多付15，
一个你全价买，每月少付15，

你说的情况是h1b已经启动，中间因为什么原因中断，然后在次申请的情况。我理解的
这种情况你可以在新工作找到时申请h1b加急，不用等到10月1号就可以工作。如果我的
理解有误，请版上大神指正.

Petitions filed on behalf of current H-1B workers who have been counted
previously against the cap also do not count toward the congressionally
mandated H-1B cap.这是官网说的，没提要启动。求指正。

大牛，太谢谢你的回复了，但还是有点不明。是说我如果10.1之前取消h1b，那么我就
变会opt（明年1月过期），那么之后找的公司就只能是everify的？h1b我是不是已经算
占上坑了，等10.1之后找工作的话还可以transfer么？还是说要等到明年四月重新申请
