在一家银行工作了快两年，由于家庭原因要搬到boston。可以网上投简历基本没有回音
。。。
大家知道boston怎么找金融相关的工作吗（银行，保险，基金等等都可以）。
本人背景为应用数学phd，现在在一家投行做一些数量和风险分析。软件的话常用的有C
++, VBA，R 和matlab。

我觉得首先你的简历要大刀阔斧地改。
其次，到公司网站去投简历。
再次，linked in上找相关的人加connect.一个连一个。厚着脸皮找推荐。最好从校友
，过去同事这里顺藤摸瓜。或者找中国人也行。一般中国人都会帮忙的。

谣传htc收购palm主要是为了palm的专利，这样可以避免appl的诉讼。
除了htc，我觉得nokia或者国内厂家收购palm还有谱，lg和三星应该不会考虑palm，这
两家一直不热心参与智能机市场。

其实APPL可以买它呀？免得HTC，联想和它竞争。多好，现在APPL现金流那么充足，买
它还不是小CASE。

Here are some things Palm brings to buyers:
- Arguably the best OS at the moment.
- A seat in front row to the smartphone market in the world. (prob. hottest
industry this decade)
- Many years of smart phones experience.
- Price? Even at 4 Billion this thing is a steal.
Especially for companies like Microsoft, Oracle, google, HTC, RIMM, HP,
Nokia or any other of the tech company that have HUGE piles of cash.
Everyone wants to get in the industry, Apple has proven there is so much $$
to be made.

the most valuable asset of palm is their palm os. but nowaday, phone
makers can get google OS for free. So they can design flashy phones, and
then get tons of softwares developed for free because google os is open
sourced.
palm also doesn't have the power to break into enterprise market.
so it's kinda get squeezed by apple and rimm from two sides.
if someone buy palm, that company also has to spend tons of
money to maintain palm os. why do that if google is give out that
for free?
