The market will consolidate a bit to find a new trading range. So, I think
the easy money has been made for the past month. From now on to the end of
the year, it will be a stock picking market.
I took a bit profits on FCX and AKS. But did not sell one share of tech
stocks. I expect tech stocks would go much higher by year end expecially the
semi sector. I am long ONNN and just bought AMD for their rosy outlook.
Watch closly on Fed meeting and job report next week. If the Fed is clear on
no QE3, then I expect a slight pullback on commodities. You can try to
hedge your portfolio by adding a bit SMN but it should be just a day or two
short term trading.
Remember the market can stay irrational much longer than you stay solvent.
So, even though for the short term, the market appears to be in a overbought
teritory, 3 or 6 months down the road, it will go much higher.
Also do not forget Gold and Silver, I would not be surprised the precious
metals would grind higher from here if the European crisis is under control.
(at least for now).
