consensus estimate calls for Amazon to report a loss of 15 cents a share on
revenue of $19.34 billion. The company reported earnings of 23 cents a share
in the first quarter
Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN) announced its second-quarter earnings results for
fiscal ‘14 (2QFY14) today, just after the markets closed. For the quarter
ended June 30, the online retailer posted an operating loss of $15 million,
down from a loss of $79 million the same quarter last year. Net loss for the

其实一个很大原因是，这两年很多州要求从Amazon买东西要交税，导致很多人不愿
意从它家买了，尤其税高的州，因为跟从店里买比没有优势。

I wouldn't be surprised if amzn price be cut by half. None of its core
businesses can support such a high pe ratio, no matter how big it becomes.
