上面那些都简单。还有更坑的,trail stop limit,完全没弄懂。

Both stop order and stop limit order are conditional, with the stop price
being the very condition.
In case of stop limit, the limit price serves as one extra constraint: no
worse than the limit price.
Example: suppose AAPL's current price is $110 and you hold it, then you may
set a stop order at $100, or a stop limit order as (stopPrice := 100,
limitPrice := 95).
Trailing stop is similar to stop, except the stop price is varying, based on
a fixed price difference or a percentage that you have set.
You can try out in your trading tool.
【在 s*********a 的大作中提到】
: sell的时候设:stop,stop limit, trailing stop
: 都有什么不同?还没用过,每次设limit,很不准啊。

这个解释和国内的教科书一样,让新手无法弄懂。

For example, if you own XYZ stock at $20/share, and decide you would like to
sell your shares if the stock was to drop $2, you could set a trailing stop
-on-quote order to automatically sell if XYZ stock price goes down. If XYZ
drops to about $18/share, the trailing stop-on-quote order is triggered once
the bid is $18 ($20 - $2) or lower, and the order will be placed as a
market order. Conversely, if XYZ stock prices go up, the trigger price for
the trailing stop-on-quote also goes up. For example, if XYZ stock increases
to $25/share, a trailing stop-on-quote order will only be triggered if the
stock price drops and the bid comes down to $23 ($25 - $2) or less.
