wifi Bluetooth Gps combos. Wifi b/gps is the best of Broadcom. But since
Apple is doing bad. Apple will squeeze brcm more! Qcom I actually different,
it only sells lte modem to Apple. Huawei oppo are all qcom customer. They
are doing better than Apple :) .

Avgo is a company like vrx and gild. Buy a lot, then layoff. In medicine,
yes you can do that since Once the drug ip get approve, competitor can
hardly get that market share from you. Semi is not the same, Apple still can
squeeze avago for wifi Bluetooth gps combo. If not, Apple can turn to qcom,
mediateck even Mrvl.
Reorg brcm will be really tough. If Apple doing good long avago, if not stay
away.

我在说一点吧 半导体现在也有瓶颈 不过新市场对dl 需求很大 dl 对硬件要求很高 计
算量大 而且有些需求要提高效率 减少功耗 比如汽车设备 nv抢了先机。qcom估计也看
出门道了 发布了dl sdk 不过硬件平台还没跟上。
现在dl 用的多的还是nv的cuda 都他妈快成dl 专用语言了。

qcom要是能搞好dl 硬件平台 也能帮组server bu。原来不看好qcom因为server部门搞

澄清一下我的要点，说到5G，是因为主要想问手机等移通方面的GPU性能，综合对比
qcom 和 nvdia 两家的优劣。
至于data center server的GPU产品，现在基本铁定会是nvdia占了，虽然暂时还没有在
销售份额里体现出来。qcom肯定已经晚了一步。

个人觉得，TPU太专用了，而且DL肯定在广义的层次来看，应用和开发绝对不会只停留
于DL。
这里GPU其实说的是GPGPU，现在nvidia的CUDA已经以绝对优势占领了GPGPU（通用计算
）的大批（潜在？）用户市场。这个就类比于早年的专用单片机和通用CPU，是通用计
算能力的CPU使得个人计算机得到大规模普及，而开拓了新的海量市场。DL只是通用计
算的一个hype部分而已，而且自动驾驶也是其中的一个应用小方向而已。Database、科
学计算、分布计算、visualization、virtual／augmented reality都是其中的潜在应
用开发市场。依我个人的分析判断，所有这些市场已经开始形成以nvidia/CUDA为核心
技术的一个ecosystem的雏形了。
