Positionegal Intern

Position SummaryAn internship at White & Case is a great way to obtain first-hand experience of life as a legal professional at a global law firm. As an intern with the firm's White Collar/Investigations practice, you will have an opportunity to work on compliance and regulatory enforcement matters involving multinational companies and market-leading Chinese companies.

Duties and Accountabilities

1.Working on internal investigation and enforcements actions including FCPA/anti-corruption related investigation, Chinese anti-corruption law matters, fraud and embezzlement, compliance risk assessment, compliance due diligence, cyber security, and other compliance areas.

2.Main responsibilities include document review, conduct legal research and due diligence, draft legal memos, translation, etc.

Education/Qualifications

1.Law student in their third or final (for LLB candidates) or second or final; year (for LLM candidates) with fluent English;

2.Top China law school;

3.Chinese native speaker; excellent written and spoken English;

4.Possess strong legal research and writing capabilities;

5.Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative thinker Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple projects;

6.Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail;

7.Team player;

8.Proactive, resourceful, takes initiative.
