虽然是事务所，偶知道其实学经济，金融，计算机，文学，艺术的都比学会计的容易进
去，而且去了后还是分到CONSULTING等好部门。学那些的学生还根本就不把BIG ４放在
首选，有的去的还委委屈屈，觉得ACCOUNTING FIRM的名字听起来CHEAP。
要是法律或者明校MBA，去那里简直等于重点培养对象了。
学会计被挑３见４，打破头欢天喜地的去了，干的最累工资最低，去的部门最让人觉得
傻。

呵呵~
之前在interview碰到个名校哥们
聊起来还是我告诉他 busy season的hour.
他说这样他不如去investment banking.～他是想找一些work life balance的

其实你说的只是一些特例而已，95％的还是学ACCOUNTING的

not the case here in the US, without accounting degree, you cannot get
promoted since you cannot get CPA license. Except for lawyers, might get
faster promotion than accounting major

you don't need a accounting degree to be a licensed CPA
as long as you have enough accounting units to sit for the CPA.As long as
you can be licensed,you are basically same as other people who have
accounting degree...
In CA, a lot of the UC do not have Accounting Program, not even a Business
program. But their economic curriculum can basically included enough
accounting classes(optional) that allow you have enough units to sit for the
exam.
Big 4 don't care if you have a acct degree or what..bu

the first wave lay-out, usually starts from consulting or M&A transaction
service, because those are not the core business, remember, big 4 are
accounting firm, auditing financial statements and filing corporate tax
returns are the core business.
