My goodness. You're serious, right? Most people would be happy with 6% annual return. You only need 12 years to double your money with that kind of return. How about E-trade or other discount services? They charge some where around $10-15 per trade. You could do ETF, stock, and mutual funds. Hope this helps.
BZ, are you sure about this? LZ was saying 每次买卖FUNDS 要交6%手续费(COMMISION). The fee I mentioned on E-Trade was transaction fee, since it charged buy and sell. If you buy and see $3000 worth of stock, you pay $20-30, about 0.7-1%. This is not load to talk about, at least not in the sense of mutual fund when you buy from a bank. I never fully understand the fee structure of mutual fund, and will never intend to. But whenever you pay 6% commission, there is either something wrong, or there is a compel

6% as commission would be unreasonably and unheard high. But 6% as front load is actually normal (but doesn't mean it's good). Particularlly, I know the front load of American Funds is around 6%. I know you are talking about commission. But I guess LZ confused front load with commission. Nobody with some basic investment knowledge would ever pay 6% front-load. But average people can easily fall into sales traps and pay that high front load, sometimes without even knowing.

You're probably right, as I vaguely recall hearing min 3% front loan/back load from mutual fund. Never a big fan of that, as it was too boring when I was playing stocks, and too much fees when I want to go with less volatile investment. As you said, 6% load if "normal", but that doesn't make it right. People really should look around and do their homework to find out what's best for them. This board should is a good place to start.

I did the similar thing. And now I want to stop the contribution. Can I just roll it over to another company? Where I can find such information? Thanks.
