lg现在是post-doc，想跟老板提换个title,比如research investitor或者research
scientist之类的，但是可能因为h1b最低工资的限制，老板只愿意给换research lab
specialist，这个属于正式的staff，有人知道这个title好不好？我是说从职业发展的
角度，不是绿卡申请什么的， 听着怎么更象technician呢？以后还有可能换回
research scientist吗？

我倒觉得很一般。
基本上应该可以猜出来了：女站长和她背后的美国政界势力同俄国人达成了某种交易，
被偷的文件里有关于这个的线索。Carrie如果看到后会发现这个交易。所以她第发现女
记者找Carrie后就决定动手干掉女主，黎巴嫩的暗杀应该是俄国人安排的。她并不知道
Peter Quinn就是柏林的编外杀手，把这个消息给了俄国人。俄国人换掉了暗杀名单。

的活拿的薪水完全和post-doc一样。不在tenure track上。It's just a name, doesn'

Not always that way, although I know most of them are like that. But there
are SOME research assistant professors who are PIs and have their own
funding and students. Especially, the most important thing is that this
title allows you to be a PI, and gives you potential for good future if you
want to work to that path. On the other hand, post-docs usually don't have
this kind of benefits. Also I know a lot of post-doc fellows don't have
retirement benefits.

我考 FAR。。 也是刚开始。。 我周末都会去MILPITAS LIBRARY 复习。。 有兴趣的可
以一起复习。。

可能各个学校不同， 在我们学校research assistant professor薪水要5，6万， 跟
postdoc还是不同的，干的活倒是一样

对的，我说的这个research lab specialist就有401kpostdco就没有，不过我想说从职
业发展的角度来说换不换呢，我们不在乎这个退休benefit。以后有可能回国

有退休计划，是按照staff对待的，这个title就是staff的title。完全看学校，老板怎
么定的，其实title有那么重要么？reasearch
