Wenyan got into the gongfu club. She was very serious about learning the
gongfu. She practiced her gongfu with other members in the class. To her
surprise, the boys were not as strong as how they appeared to be. Wenyan won
every single fight. She could block their punch. They were not as flexible
as her, so she can always kick their stomach. Everybody on the team was
beaten by her. She was the best fighter in the team. It was amazing. Wenyan
’s confident was boosted and she told herself:”Coach and provost, you were
all wrong about girls. Our greatest chairman Mao, you are the only one who
truly knows the power of woman: we are half of the sky.”While Wenyan was
quite successful in the gongfu team, I was also successful in publishing.
One of my articles was published on the school newspaper. To celebrate,
Jingfeng invited me for a movie in a theater outside the campus. Huaqing was
a little nervous and she asked me: “do you think it is good to go out for
a movie with a boy? Alone?” I knew what she meant was if I wanted her to
go with me. But to be honest, I was truly hoping for a private moment with
Jingfeng: “I will be Ok. Jingfeng and I worked together for half a year. He
was always very considerate. He helped me to edit that article. Without him
, I don’t think I can get it published. It would be rude not to accept his
invitation.”
After the movie, Jingfeng and I walked back. It was a full moon night.
Everything was bathed with the moon lights. While I was enjoying the autumn
breezes, JingFeng suddenly held my neck and started to kiss me. I was
shocked and frightened. I tried to push him away. But his arms were strong.
I can feel that his lips were all over my face. I knew everything about man.
I knew their unmanageable urges and the simplicity of their mind. But I was
so unprepared to see their true self in real life and..alone. I was
seriously disgust by his behavior and screamed for help. I didn’t know if
my screams brought him back to his senses. Suddenly, he released me and
started to apologize. He said:”Qingna. I fell in love with you for the
first sight. I cannot hold back my love any longer. I met you long time ago.
It was really a foggy Saturday; the campus was covered by fogs. I was on my
way to my dorm. Then I saw you standing under a maple tree and reading a
book. You looked like a little glowing figure in a fairy tale. I feared that
you would disappear when the fog was cleared. I dared not to leave.
Suddenly, I heard another girl call you name. She threatened that if you don
’t return to the dorm and stay in the cold too long, she would call you mom
. After that day, I thought about you almost every second.”
I was furious and felt like being violated:”JingFeng, I trusted you and
agreed to go out and watch a movie with you, and this is how you treated a
girl?”
“Qingna. It was the moon lights. Your face was bathed with the moon light.
It looked like a sculpture. You were so beautiful. My spirit must flow out
of my body temporally. I love you. Besides, kissing is a natural thing. I
hope you know about this.”
A natural thing? What a ridiculous theory. When man wanted to get drunk,
liquor is a natural thing. When man wanted sex, sex is a natural thing. I
said: “Jingfeng. It was an inappropriate thing to say and to do. “
Jingfeng asked me: “Why? Don’t you also love me?” Love? There was a
slight possibility for love to occur in my heartless chest. But now, this
possibility is gone. I said:”No, of course not. I respect you and think of
you as a friend.” Jingfeng sounded stupid:” No. When you applied the
editor position, I knew you loved me. You were responding to my poem.”
People often say, when they are in love, girls’ ability to reason equals to
zero. Now I realized that on a scale of 1 to 10, when they are in love,
boys’ ability to reason is negative 100,000.
I said: “No, no, you got me wrong. I was really interested in being an
editor. I wasn’t responding to your poem.” Jingfeng replied: “Why do you
deny your feelings about me? I can tell that you had a thing for me. Your
prose is for me. Isn’t it. I swear. You do love me.”
I had to tell him the truth: “I swear, I haven’t figured out what is love.
If I left you with any impression that I had a thing for you, believe me
that was unconsciously done. Besides, I think it is too earlier to say the
word: love.” Jingfeng said: Why? You think I am not serious?
He looked upset. I replied: “You barely know me. How can you be serious? I
really don’t think you truly love me. You should calm down.”
Under the moon, something suddenly shined my eyes. I realized that Jingfeng
took a knife out of his pocket. I was scared:”What are you going to do with
a knife? I am scared.”
Holding that knife, Jingfeng said: “I can cut myself to prove my love to
you.”
I was so scared, and I never felt so scared. All my life, I was well
protected by my father. I was never left in a situation where everything
seemed to be out of control. When I saw Jingfeng was about to cut himself
using that knife, I started to run. I run and run and run until I arrived
Wenyan’s dorm. As soon as I saw Wenyan, I started to cry. I told Wenyan
what had happened. Wenyan was equally angry: “Jingfeng is such a jerk. Sh*t
. I will expose him.” I didn’t know if Jingfeng truly cut himself. But the
consequence was unthinkable. I asked:”What if he did cut himself?” Wenyan
paused for a second and said:”He better did that. Otherwise, I will cut
him in half myself. Stop crying. I will find a chance to revenge for you. I
will at least break one of his arms or legs.”
The next day, rumor about Jingfeng sending to hospital spread out on campus.
That idiot did cut one of his arteries. People who love literature can be
quite violent and stupid too. I didn’t visit him in the hospital and I
thought this whole thing was over. But later it turned out Jingfeng’s
violent nature had a family root: his brother was a gangster. He heard about
his little brother’s tragedy. He decided to take care of this love affair.
He sent a note to me and asked me to have a chat with him.
I hadn’t completed recovered from this drama and this note scared the hell
out of me. Afer I showed the note to Wenyan. She told me: “There is nothing
to worry. I got everything well covered.”
Later, Wenyan and I went to meet Jingfeng’s brother, who was the first
gangster we ever met. Jingfeng’s brother was tall and strong. He was very
knowledgeable in using dirty words. As soon as he saw us, he started yelling
Wenyan was ultimately provoked. She said: “If you dare to say that again to
my friend, I will teach you a lesson.” Jingfeng’s brother said: “Teach
me a lesson? Who do you think you are? I don’t beat women. Don’t force me.
” Wenyan cannot tolerant this human being anymore. She kicked him. Then she
posed herself to block his punch.
The next thing I realized was that Wenyan was lying on the ground. Jingfeng
’s brother was afraid that we would call the campus police, so he left in a
hurry. For a moment, I thought that Wenyan was dying. My tears run out of
my eyes and I called her name. I regretted very much to drag her into this.
I cried: “Are you Ok? Don’t scare me.” Wenyan moved her arms and legs.
Nothing seemed to be broken. So she said: “I am OK.” I guess that was the
moment when she realized that nobody at the gongfu club ever fought with her
. They perhaps did their best to entertain her. So now she was completely
entertained, with half of her body covered with bruises. What can I say, Ah.
.. "woman, your name is frailty". (From Shakespeare (modified by Drbiologist
). I never cared that if girls were physically weaker then with boys. I was
happy to see she was alright.

三间瓦房，四壁是红砖墙，
将东西南北守望。
西面的厨房里摆着锅碗瓢盆
和杯具，用来制作与装载生活。
土坯砌的灶，烟囱连到屋外，

中间的堂屋，几把竹椅，坐在那儿，
把前门和后门同时打开，
穿堂风就没了阻拦，有时从前往后，

外婆正好站在门边，

卧房里有几张硬板床，

各位朋友，
打算尝试这个CPA了，我现在在马里兰州，想问下我可以去参加其他州的考试吗？因为
马里兰除了过4门考试以外，还要需要有1年的会计工作经验才可以拿证书。是否有其它
州可以直接拿证书的？不需要会计工作经验。

Illinois or Montana 不需要工作经验，可以拿certificate.

你可以在你所住的州参加其他州的考试，可以在CPA考试的网站上查到考点。
但有一点要提醒，如果你拿到的证书没有一年工作经验的要求，当你去美国其它州工作
的时候，假如该州对证书资格有工作时间的要求，你原来的证书在这个州就不能
transfer（也就是你不能凭借原来的证书执业）,必须满足了时间要求才可以。当然如
果你只是单纯要这个证书而不是在美国执业，就没问题了。
但有一点要提醒，如果你拿到的证书没有一年工作经验的要求，当你去美国其它州工作
的时候，假如该州对证书资格有工作时间的要求，你原来的证书在这个州就不能
transfer（也就是你不能凭借原来的证书执业）,必须满足了时间要求才可以。当然如
果你只是单纯要这个证书而不是在美国执业，就没问题了。

FL doesn't need working experience. You just need to pass the exam u get
license. But FL has higher apply requirement to sit for the exam.

当时外婆也正好在门边，被劈到了，受了伤，被马上送到了卫生院，幸运的是最终全愈

我家老宅的这块地基，在之前是边上村里的大米加工场，有一年春天被龙卷风刮倒了，
还砸死一人，后来我家买了这块地基盖了房。其实我门那是丘陵，龙卷风是极为罕见的
，记忆中就发生过这么一次。后来来美上学期间，有次上课美国教授说起，才知道世界
上龙卷风最频繁的，第一是美国中西部，第二是中国内蒙。
