刚定了海航从san jose飞北京的票，回程可以在网上选座位，但去程不行。打电话给海
航，客服说san jose机场只能到时checkin的时候才能定座位。感觉有点太不方便了。
想问从san jose飞过的大侠知不知道别的办法可以选座位。

背景：有新加坡永久居民身份，在新加坡申请的J1 visa来美国做薄厚
从以下网页看到

If the country of your nationality differs from the country of your last
legal permanent residence at the time you obtain your Exchange Visitor (J-1)
visa status, the Skills List from the country of your last permanent
residence at the time you obtain your J visa applies to you.
而新加坡没出现在那个list上，也就是说我J1不需waive也可找工作的。
还是问相关部门靠谱，在bbs上问都不靠谱的。

国内周四打了两个电话说没有名额
周五又打了两个电话说没有名额
现在刚刚打，居然成功了，6月2号
正好，12分钟刚好用完

大使馆网页上说北京b2签证等待时间2天，今天能约到3/3号的（有点吃惊，能这么快
吗？），iflychina上在2/28号的也只约到3/30号左右的，那个更靠谱？

店员推荐这两个，有谁知道的点评一下。
一个one box的号称all in one，只需要连到电脑就行，250$好像
一个100$

有需要内退EY的可以找我。没有经验的需要走校园招聘。最近experienced hire也只
能收有public accounting经验的。只有industry经验的没办法走EY的experienced
hire。:)

I suggest you call Visa Office, number see top 3 post. You need Advisory
opinion, see top 4 post.
If Advisory Opinion tells you that you are not subject to 212(e), that is true.

You do need advisory opinion from DOS, see below:
Advisory Opinion: An opinion regarding a point of law from the Office of
Visa Services in the Department of State, Washington, D.C. This opinion
would be in answer to a question from an embassy or consulate about
interpretation of immigration law or in response to a request of review of
the legal correctness of a visa refusal of an applicant or his/her
representative.
Advisory Opinion (“J” Visa) Waiver of Foreign Residence Requirement, INA
212(e): A J-1 visa /DS 2019 or IAP 66 form will have a statement in the
bottom left hand corner of the form, as follows: “Bearer is or is not
subject to section 212(e). Two year rule (does or does not) apply (name of
country)” This is a preliminary endorsement of the Consular Officer or
Immigration Officer regarding Section 212(e) of the INA. When a J-1 visa
holder (or his/her attorney) inquires whether the Foreign Residence
Requirement under INA 212(e) applies to a particular J-1 visa holder, then a
request for an Advisory Opinion request is mailed to the Waiver Review
