大概3年前帮我妹妹递了I-130(兄弟姐妹的F4类别)移民申请,递了以后除了收到了申
请号,还没有任何消息。
现在想让我妹妹签B2过来半年帮我看小孩, 请问这种情况邀请信怎么写呀?有人有类
似的情况签过的吗?
我妹妹在外面打工,挣得的钱很少, 有一个刚上初中的小孩, 银行几乎没有什么存款
, 也没有什么房产。
推荐信还是按老套, 说想过来旅游一下,看看美国是什么样子,来看看哥哥一家人? 还
有没有什么其它好的理由? 我父母都70多岁了, 他们最近都拿到了10年签证, 就说
父母身体不太好, 让我妹妹陪他们过来? 不知道这是不是个理由。 若不是, 我就不
想写进去, 不想画蛇添足。
关于一定要回国的理由, 就说她老公和小孩都在国内, 小孩还在上初中,要人照顾?
还有不会英语, 在这儿肯定不习惯的, 但这似乎和我给她递I-130自相矛盾。
不准备在推荐信里说她已经递了130,但在DS160表里准备如实填写(不知道在DS160表里
说没有递130,对以后的移民申请有什么后果). 所以如果移民官仔细看DS160,还是知道
我妹妹已经递过移民申请了. 在已经递了130的情况下,怎么在推荐信解释,让签证官相
信我妹妹来几个月后一定会回去呢?
另外如果B2没签到,对以后的130批准会有影响吗?

是B校的(I-797正在办)。两边间隔比较远,搬家比较麻烦,所以让老婆带着孩子回国
躲一段时间。但是老婆返签H4的时候我不太自信,因为I-797A和offer letter不相配。
就拿着这些材料让老婆去签证有问题吗?还是我最好等到B校的I-797下来再让老婆去签
证更好?有类似经验的xdjm们给点主意。万分感谢。

不管该不该,现在贾玲已经在微博上做出道歉声明了,其实一开始我就知道一定会是这
样一个结果。
因为这是一个符合中国国情的结果,也就是说无论恶搞花木兰的是谁她最终都会选择道
歉。
首先,木兰巾帼英雄这一人物形象是虚构的,具有的是一种象征意义,历史上并没有这
一人物的存在。
我认为贾玲恶搞花木兰是一种艺术创新,因为她本身从事的就是喜剧事业。
当然,如果她恶搞的是一个实实在在存在于中国历史的英雄人物那就另当别论了。
在文化竞争如此激烈的国际环境下,我们应该做到敢于突破自己,因为文化需要创新,
需要我们展开自己的想象力,如果一味地因循守旧只会被现实淘汰。
但是谈到这里就想起了我们国内现在很多的抗日神剧,他们的改编没有污蔑那些民族英
雄,但却夸大了历史事实。变得“玄幻”,这种不符合事实的、过分夸张的手法更应该
受到处罚,这样会误导看电视的观众,尤其是年纪较小还没有形成正确人生价值观的人
,所以这件事不应该好好管管吗?

so confused now, would like to have some suggestions.
here is the situation: i accepted a job offer and gave my current company a
resignation letter with two weeks of notice. my boss/my boss's boss/my boss
'boss'boss all met with me and asked if anything to do so that i would
remained with the company. the primarily reason that i accepted the offer
is because i can go to the next level, even with not so much increase in
total compensation. i might able to go to the next level in the current
company but might be a year or two years later.
today, after i said no to them two days ago, still called me into a quite
room asking if i would re-consider to stay, and promised to promote me to
next level in next year. i would like to ask if i should stay.
here are some pros and cons: current company - big company, 300 fortune,
good benefits, 4 weeks of pto, flexible hours; new company: small company,
benefits are similar, but 3 weeks of pto, not sure about flexible hours yet.
total compensation: $2k to $6k more in the new company depends on the
annual bonus. other fact, my friend works in the new company, and he
referred me for the position.
so, should i stay? if so, anything i need to ask now? if i choose to stay,
would my friend get hurt? or should i not stay?
i originally think should not accept the counteroffer, but confused now as
bosses asked so many times, one boss even had tears out while talking to me.
advices or suggestions, please.

You should go. No one can promise you anything, get what you can. What about
next year they still hold you back? I would go to the new company,
regardless of the new compensation for now. But with the next level title,
if you perform good, you sure will get increase in your salary, and if you
want to move else well with your next level title, you will also likely to
get higher compensation.

thanks niggy, really appreciate your opinion. i totally agree what you said,
which is actually why i accepted the offer, even with no much increase in
total compensation.
as i am still thinking the same, what make me to re-think are 1)is worth
move out from big company to small company with title change? all my bosses
were telling me that it is not good for my future advancement by staying in
a small company. when they do hiring, they would not consider candidates
from small company, no matter what titles, because they believe no matter
how big title in a small company, such even a finance controller might need
to do ap/ar works. unless i would stay in a small company, it would be
difficult to move back into big company in my next level. i have not in
that high level involving any recruitment decision, are above statement from
them in general is true? 2)the current company has very flexible hours,
such as wfh and normally can leave work at 5:30 except 2-3 weeks of staying
late at quarter end and year end, while i am not sure if the new company is
the same. it should not a big factor for myself, but maybe good for my
family, especially the kid.

你呆在那回头会被别人找理由开掉或Layoff的。
Promise不值钱的。
明天有另一个员工要走,老板也跟他promise。
过1年,老板说不定自己滚蛋了。
或者说你们2个里觉得另一个更好。
他们只要拖到你不接这offer,然后就可以和你打持久战了。
你的问题在于,你应该先去要promotion。然后他们肯定会拒绝,那样你就知道你不是
不可或缺的了,然后你可以说你走人了。
你现在先说走人,然后他们挽留,一看就是太虚伪了。
就这样你还犹豫?

其实我也是没有想过留下来的,我之前的想法就是,要不就不要提出要走,如果提出了
就一定不要留下来。就像你说的,一年后都不知道我老板还在不在公司,式者找到人之
后就被解雇。
但是我其中一个老板,挽留我的时候眼泪都流下来,我那时的心情真的是OMG,都不知道
要说什么和做什么了。
不管我的决定是什么样,多谢各位中肯的意见。谢了!

可以试申请一下无妨。
我2011年帮我姐一家递交F4的, 然后12,13 ,14年一家三口都拿到b2签证了, 15年都
拿到了十年签证。
我姐不上班, 160我写费用我出, 然后也如实填写了比如"我兄弟已经帮我们申请了美国
移民。“
邀请信很容易写啊, 你找一个比较好的时间点, 比如暑假的时候, 说让她们暑假过来
完, 写回去日期最好写9月开学之前。 切记不要写孩子上学的时间过来。

我妹妹她一个人签, 也是一个人过来。如果是写暑假过来, 签证官会不会觉得奇怪,
怎么不把正在上初中的小孩带过来一起来旅游和探亲?

一般来说开弓没有回头箭。如果公司下一步决定裁员你觉得裁谁比较合适。

Hi 楼主,
呆不呆在在旧公司还要看你有没有家庭, 孩子, 年龄 等. 个人觉得 你那些老板 并不
是 说说玩的. 你要仔细分析你的不升职原因. 大公司有时就是受预算限制 升职 很慢.
不要为了一个title 就去小公司.

你应该考虑的是,大公司跳小公司,容易。小公司跳大公司,不能说难,title一般会
down grade的。如果年纪不大,要考虑的是哪份工作能学更多的东西,让你自身更有价
值。如果年纪大,就是以稳定,家庭因素为主多吧。这个没人比你自己更了解什么是最
好。
