这个学期开始找,学校地点太偏,在santa barbara，离LA近两个小时
主要想在加州找工作
投了近十份简历，只有一个telephone interview，前天收到据信，打电话去问，那个
姐姐很好，说我要加强communication skills and be more confident
校内有公司来recruit，居然只要精算系的，设了屏蔽，我是经济系的，简历都投不了
我去年暑假开始考cas/soa，过了两门，我今年就毕业了
我现在能做的就是可以自己加强练习interview，可是感觉interview的机会真的很少啊
，可能跟我只在加州找工作有关
大家说说我是不是再拿个统计的master啊？还是今年继续考M或是C？
还是继续把精力主要放在找工作上？

dont get a Stats master hoping for an actuarial job, get stats master only
if you want to get the master.
As far as I know, there arent that many firms in CA, but there are still
some opportunities, probably more limited. Can you relocate?
also, try to contact the recruiter going to your school directly via email,
explain you situation, he/she may be willing to see you regardless of your
major. Some times, the major requirement is just to "limit" the totally
unrelated candidates from submittig r

Thank you, standard girl, actually, I contacted the recruiter by email this
afternoon, he has not replied yet.
I will call him if he does not reply my email before the interview day.
To oldcountry, I want to stay in California because my parents and my
boyfriends are here. I will try relocating if I can not find a actuarial job
this quarter.
I really do not want to continue to study in school, I just want to get a
job. Actuary seems to be a great job for me.
